Limitation-
- Do not avoid this asana during menstruation.
- Do not practice this exercise in case of spinal problems, acute thyroid problems, chronic neck conditions, shoulder injuries, and retinal problems.
- People who have a heart problem, middle ear problem, capillary, weak age, spondylitis, and slip disc should also not do this asana.
Pawanmuktasana-
This asana helps in expelling unnecessary gas from the stomach. This asana is also called Vayu Vimochana Mudra. Pawanmuktasana is an effective posture which is a very important asana for good digestion. Pawanmuktasana is a wonderful asana for digestion. In this asana, Pawan means air or gas, and Mukta means release.
The name of this asana indicates that this pose helps in releasing the trapped gas in the intestines. This asana cures constipation by removing toxins from the gastrointestinal tract of the body. It is extremely effective in stimulating our nervous and in expelling harmful toxins along with abdominal gases from our body. This keeps your skin healthy by removing diseases and increases blood circulation in your skin
How to do it?
- First of all, lie down on the yoga mat.
- You bend your knees and bring your thighs closer to your chest.
- Now hold the fingers of both the hands together just below the knee.
- Now while exhaling, press both the knees and bring it towards the chest as much as possible.
- You lift your head off the ground and try to touch your nose with your knees.
- Now you stay in this posture for 30 seconds and take long deep breaths
- Now exhale slowly and bring the head and legs back to the previous position.
- You do this asana 3-5 times according to your ability.
Limitation-
If you have any of these health problems then you should avoid doing this yoga asana-
- High blood pressure
- Hernia
- Slip disc
- Heart problems,
- Neck and back pain
Adho Mukha Savasana-
This asana is easy nd it rejuvenates the body by bringing a lot of energy into your body. Adha Mukha Savasana yoga helps in accelerating the blood circulation in the brain region thereby supplying adequate oxygen to the upper part of the body. Regular practice of this asana provides relief from back pain and glowing skin and many other health benefits.
It is one of the important yoga postures in Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation). This helps in removing pimples, wrinkles, and blemishes by providing adequate nutrition through the blood. It asana directs the oxygenated flow of blood to the facial area and is good for glowing facial skin
How to do it?
- First of all, lie down comfortably on the yoga mat.
- After this, while inhaling, lift the body on your feet and hands and make a table-like shape.
- As you exhale, slowly raise the hips upwards. Keep your elbows and knees tight.
- During the practice of this asana, the shoulders and hands should be in one line and the feet should be in line with the hips. Make sure your ankles are on the outside.
- Now try to stretch the neck by pressing your hands down towards the ground.
- You stay in this position for a few seconds and after that keep the knees on the ground and come back to the table-like position.
Limitations-
Do not practice this asana if you have any of these problems like-
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- A detached retina
- A dislocated shoulder
- Weak eye capillaries
Bhujangasana-
Bhujangasana indirectly helps in keeping your skin healthy. This asana allows your heart and lungs to open up, which improves your breathing. This leads to better blood circulation which aids in the removal of toxins and free radicals from the body. Doing this asana regularly helps in premature aging of the skin, acne, and psoriasis.
How to do it?
- First of all, lie down comfortably on the yoga mat.
- Now place your hands on either side of your head and rest your forehead on the ground.
- Keeping your legs taut, keep some distance between them.
- Then, while taking a deep breath, try to lift the body up to the navel by applying pressure towards the ground with your hands.
- You first raise your head, chest, and finally the navel.
- You stay in this position and look at the sky and stay in this position for some time.
- Keep the weight of your body equally on both the hands and you keep breathing.
- Now exhale slowly and come to your starting position.
- You can complete three to five cycles of this yoga according to your ability.
Limitation-
- Don’t keep your body rigid.
- Pregnant women should not practice it.
- Don’t exercise if you have back pain and neck pain.
