Importance of Physical Activity!

Before we get into importance let me tell you what is Physical Activity? Physical activity is nothing but the movement of our body. Where we use our energy. It can be like anything running, talking, walking, etc.

So it is important to move our body. We can not only seatback. We have to do things because our body requires it. It has many benefits on our physical and mental health etc.

There are many types of physical activities which includes:

  • Activity like, Walking, running, and use of stairs, etc.
  • Aerobic exercise, swimming, dancing, etc.
  • Strength training – Gym, weight lifting or any other exercise.

Is it important to do physical activities?

Many people are lazy. They do not want to do physical activities. They find it hard to do but if you compare this generation people with our ancestors you will find our ancestors were more active and enthusiastic. They were more active in work because they were not lazy.

Physical activities make your body active because our body is a machine if you will use it, it will work properly or if not it will become choke/lazy.

So it is important to do physical activities for your healthy body.

What are the negative impacts if you don’t do physical activities?

1. Risk of diseases

If you are inactive it will lower down your circulation, increase inflammation in your body. So it increases rate of disease like:

  • Diabetes
  • Cancer
  • Obesity(the major problem of all diseases)
  • High blood pressure
  • Heart disease

2. Decreased mental health

Mental Health Awareness

The research said that if you are not active it will increase rate of anxiety and depression.

Anxiety and depression really affect your body and mental health.

  • It makes you lazy.
  • You become fat.
  • It will lead to sleep problems.
  • Your metabolism slows down.
  • You may die younger.

So these are some common problems which you will face if you are inactive. It will risk your health. It is better to do physical activities.

Benefits of physical activities

If you are active then, here are some of the benefits you will get in the long term.

  • It may reduce your heart disease.
  • It lowers down your stress.
  • You will not feel depressed.
  • Manage your weight.
  • You will feel better.
  • You will feel more relaxed.
  • You will be happier.
  • It may block your negative thoughts.
  • You will have a healthier state of mind.
  • It helps you to live longer.

What else you need when you can have all these benefits only by doing some simple steps only at home. It is the simplest way to keep your body healthy, fresh, energetic, disease-free etc.

All you need is to do follow some steps like be active, exercise on time, fix routine, do your work and you will find changes in your body and your mental state.
